Grace Gitaka
Wholistic Caring & Counselling Founder & Director

Grace Gitaka founded Wholistic Care & Counselling Centre in 1994.  It operates primarily as a safe place where women in crisis can go to find shelter, food, and loving support. Grace worked in a medical centre for 5 years before embarking on Wholistic, to which she has now dedicated her life, home and belongings.  The main building was built by a team of architecture students from Edinburgh University, and on land given to Grace by her father. The centre has become a place of refuge and peace. Wholistic has also opened a school for children from the local community.

Dr. Jean Wamaitha Kagia
Obstetrician/Gynecologist

Dr. Jean Kagia is a well known doctor in Kenya who is a Trustee of the Kenya Medical Women’s Association and an advocate for women and children.  Dr. Kagia has received numerous medical certifications in surgery and medicine.  She is a founding member and chairperson of the Protecting Life Movement of Kenya and Christian Medical Fellowship of Kenya.  She is also founding member of the Medical School Christian Union.  A member of variety of medical organizations, Dr. Kagia is a passionate pro-lifer.

Valerie Bocage
CEO/Founder of Powerful Women International

Valeri Bocage has been assisting people in living their dreams for over 15 years. She has inspired hundreds
of people to fulfill on their life's mission. She has
coached authors, entrepreneurs, parents, families,
public speakers and artists to expand their vision for
what was possible in their professional and personal
lives.

Valeri was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. As a
result of Hurricane Katrina, Valeri lost EVERYTHING, except her indominable spirit and true passion for life.
She took the loss as an opportunity to start a whole
new life. She moved to San Francisco to fulfill on her dream of "EMPOWERING WOMEN TO EMPOWER THE WORLD." Now, only a year old, Powerful Women International is doing just that.

Dr. Lillian Wahome
Education & Counseling  
Dr. Wahome graduated from the University of Nairobi in the mid 70s and taught in High School for four years before proceeding to the USA where she did her M.Ed and Doctor of Education in Counseling.

Dr. Wahome has taught in different Universities and Colleges, both locally and internationally. In addition, she has served as a student counselor in a number of the universities where she has taught.
    
Lillian served as the Executive Director of Amani Counseling Centre and Training Institute in Nairobi, Kenya, between 2003 and 2005, after which she joined Pan Africa Christian University, Nairobi, first on a part time basis and now full time. She is both a lecturer and an administrator.
