Hitaji
Aziz
KPFT Radio Talk Show Host
Shamanic Coach and Social Healer
Hitaji Aziz is an amazing woman!
Her journey of tragedy began in her teens and led her
to being homeless twice, battered and addicted to suffering
and struggle. Although down, Hitaji's inspiration for
social justice, instilled in her at the age of 13, gave
her a reason to live and continue for the next forty
years as an activist and radio producer.
She is a powerful, blunt and candid motivational speaker,
nationally and internationally involved with community
work since 1965. She received her B.A. at the University
of Vermont College & University in 2005 and is currently
completing her Masters. She is the owner of Peacemaker
Enterprise and The
Colored Woman and Her Cookie Factory, a social-spiritual
justice boutique.
She is interested in the issues of human transformation,
therapeutic body work, soap making, domestic/sexual
violence, rage, diversity, men healing, prison communities
and other issues.
She describes herself as healer, medicine woman, and
spoken word artist with a mission of service and complete
willingness to be Spirit-led. She lives by the law of
love, peace and manifestation with no limits to infinite
goodness.
She models for those who struggle with life challenges
that one does not have to be controlled or defined by
their history or social conditions; that there are no
limits for the human spirit and no excuse to live without
abundance and passion.
